Raising your vibration allows you to receive clearer and greater guidance from your higher self.  Staying focused on the good things in life and remaining positive will help in moving you closer to your natural state of existence.  I’m a firm believer that you receive what you put out into the universe. These are some of the things that I have found to be effective in bringing calm to my life.

1. Meditation

This allows you time to connect with your intuition and a higher power allowing you a clear mind.  Find what works best for you, whether first thing in the morning, at night, or you may even get in the habit of taking a couple of minutes throughout the day.  Make this a priority no matter how long, just get in the habit of doing it daily.

2. Be Conscious Of Your Thoughts

Positive thoughts bring positive results, so potentially what comes into your mind will have an impact on you.  If you constantly think and wait for the worst to happen you will find yourself consumed with sadness and worry.  Make the conscious decision to remain positive and fuel your mind with happy thoughts to set the tone for each day.

3. Surround Yourself With Positive People

If you have healthy relationships with positive people that vibrate highly then you will raise your energy level also.  You will definitely become the company that you keep so surround yourself with uplifting, empowering individuals that share in your morals and values.  

4.  Give Of Yourself

Studies have shown that the happiest, healthiest people are those that regularly volunteer their time towards helping others.  Helping out at homeless shelters or food banks will provide you with such gratitude because this takes your mind off of your own problems.  Helping those less fortunate than we are can bring realization that there is always someone dealing with far worse. 

5. Practice Gratitude

Often times in life we get so consumed with all of the madness and bad going on in the world that we forget to pay attention to what’s right before our eyes. Get to a place in life where you have a clear understanding of all the many reasons you have to be thankful.  Learn to show more compassion and less judgement to one another. Forgive and let go of the people and things that have brought you pain for your own peace of mind.

6. Exercise

Whether yoga, swimming, walking or running, physical exercise will boost healthy endorphins.  It doesn’t have to be a strenuous workout small amounts can increase your vibration. Exercising  outside can be increasingly beneficial by getting fresh air and enjoying nature which definitely relieves stress.  Find something that you enjoy doing and stick with it.  

7.  Get Organized

Cleanliness is next to godliness so if your home or work area is cluttered then chances are so is your mental state.  Chores such as washing dishes, taking out the trash and dusting should all be a part of a daily or weekly routine.  The same can be said for your work space. Less is more so if you are looking to keep a clear mind then the areas in which you spend your time should remain organized.

8. Disconnect From Electronics

Most feel that this is easier said than done because our phones and computers have become such a huge part of our daily lives.  I definitely understand, however finding the time to disconnect and take time for yourself, even if for an hour a day is part of self care.  Allow this time to free yourself from the outside world, creating a quiet calm place to clear your thoughts.  

9.  Home Environment

Home is where most of us spend the majority of our time so your surroundings can affect your vibration.  Praying in your home, using bright colors and paintings all give off positive energy. Even small details in how you have your furniture arranged can contribute.  Brighten up the place, use books and magazines to help in creating a more vibrant space.

10.  Limit Low Vibrational TV

The majority of television shows today are full of violence based on the craziness of the real world. Even the news seems to post more bad stories than good so this is a way of directly streaming negativity to your home. Switch things up and try to incorporate more uplifting, empowering shows during your TV time.

Life is about choices, so making the conscious decision to surround yourself with people and things to increase the vibration in our lives makes perfect sense.
