Kindness is defined as being considerate, generous, friendly and can improve your quality of life as well as bring people together.  Showing kindness to others is one of the best feelings and can also be beneficial in your own happiness.  There are some that consider an act of kindness as a sign of weakness when it is actually a testament of one’s strength.

An act of kindness doesn’t take much and if was shown more , could possibly make our world a better place.  A simple hello, holding the door for someone or even a smile could be just what a person is needing.  We never know what someone is dealing with and that one kind act could make a world of difference to them.  These are crazy times in which we live and would be far worse if no one ever displayed kindness.

Showing empathy or caring in action is showing compassion.  We are living in a cruel world full of people going through difficult times.  There is no such thing as a perfect life and we all are struggling with something.   Showing compassion opens your heart, increases your happiness and enables you to not only understand others more but yourself as well.

There are those carrying burdens that we couldn’t fathom and may be feeling despair.   Don’t be that one to potentially push them over the edge but rather that ray of light and hopefulness they’ve been waiting for.  Being kind and compassionate to one another doesn’t cost a thing and is one of the most rewarding feelings one can experience.

Be the one known for consistently being kind and genuinely compassionate to others.   Life can be hard day to day so make the choice to do your part in making it a little easier for someone. Wear a smile and make a conscious decision to be good to others.

Ephesians 4:32

“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”
